Sanctuary of Rock was opened on July 4th, 2014 but this is not the original club.
From 2006 – 2014 we were Sanctuary Rock and at the height of Second Life’s popularity it was one of the busiest clubs in SL, I was owner from 2011 til January 2014 when I passed the club on and was going to retire from the club business. The owner that took over felt SR had seen better days and closed it July 1st, 2014.
The staff and managers at that time refused to let go of the club that was their home so we reopened on July 4th with a little name change but kept the SR tradition of bringing the hard hitting rock everyone loved, good conversation, great people and most importantly, FUN!
This past July we celebrated 7 years 🙂
Generally we have DJs every day 10am -8pm, Fridays & Saturdays we go to 10pm.
