Sensual Sands

Desert is a living being. Its immensity breath, talks, changes at any time. This infinite sea of sand has its waves, its subdued undertow, its depth and its heights. Light and shadows make fascinating contrasts on the desert surface, even its color change according to the sky. The changing shape of its dunes draws ever new lines: thin, smooth, volatile lines following the direction of the wind. These drawings are definitely sensual: they recall the curves of laying human bodies, their continuous motion recalls human heaths or thrills.
At the first glance, the photos in this exhibit could look monotonous, but they actually invite the visitor to recognize in them the countless different moves, emotions, and feelings that a body can express, although it’s made of sand.
